Lead Worker for Family & Behaviour Support
Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT) are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to assist the Wellbeing Manager with advising and assisting Headteachers and Senior Leaders across the Trust to manage emotional wellbeing in their respective schools. This is done by providing a stimulating, structured, safe and high-quality provision which maximises “life chances” of children with complex needs including behavioural, emotional or social difficulties.
To lead the engagement with our most vulnerable and challenging children and families working with children at risk of exclusion and high needs to develop bespoke packages to support the curriculum and learning in an alternative provision.
To work independently with families within the community to facilitate family group conferences to improve outcomes for families and children. This will entail out of hours and out of school term time.
To support the set up and establish the HCAT behaviour unit, to take a key role in turning values, ethos, structure, resources and behaviour support for HCAT.
To ensure comprehensive assessments are undertaken and the correct strategy implemented to guarantee students are given the best opportunity in which to learn.
To ensure the very best welfare support and personal service is made available to all students on well-being issues.
